Human Knowledge Belongs To The World

Its true that humans are the most intelligent species on the earth. But its also a fact that, human nature drags every such sapient to heaps up the knowledge that he gains, and skips to spread it.
It is the worse one could ever do.My aim is just to motivate my friends towards the Open Source Initiative.
However, our job is to open the enriched knowledge of the humans. Every one has something special to tell about. And believe me, dear friends, there is a vast community which is selfless to share such knowledge and digital stuff. Its amazing that some people just open their knowledge to others without any cost just to evolve what they know.
According to the Wikipedia - "Open source describes practices in production and development that promote access to the end product's source materials—typically, their source code".
Now specifically talking about the computer world, Open source is a development method for software that harnesses the power of distributed peer review and transparency of process. We have a huge stuff on the internet that is open source, as it is said. This is the real use of the human knowledge. Ranging from small CMS like wordpress to the OS like Ubuntu , every source is open for modification and redistribution. Everyone of us can contribute to it and can even use it for our profit.
The promise of open source is better quality, higher reliability, more flexibility, lower cost, and an end to predatory vendor lock-in.
